The Process:
Complimentary in-home consultation –
We start by first meeting with you to identify your needs and expectations as well as to introduce ourselves and our services.
Subsequent meeting to further asses your needs and develop your unique design.
We create a plan for your project centering around your budget. We are happy to work with your architect to refine your project scope, budget and details. Or, if you have yet to find an architect, Kopp Construction offers in-house design work, or we can recommend an architect or designer for your project.
Presentation of a project proposal, including a time line.
After obtaining drawings and preparing a preliminary estimate, we meet with you again, review construction costs based on the features and amenities that you've requested. We can suggest alternatives and cost variables at this time.
Signing Contract-
We take the final information from the previous meetings and provide a detailed cost breakdown covering all construction aspects clearly outlined.
Construction Begins
Plans for your project are submitted to the county for building permits. Initial construction begins. We establish a routine with you for acknowledging milestones and soliciting your feedback. A collaborative process with good communication between client, architect (if used) and contractor is key to achieving client satisfaction.
Construction Completed - Final Inspection
As construction nears completion we will schedule a 30 day pre-completion walk through with you to create a punch list of all concerns and final details. Clean up, final walk through and final County inspections complete your project.
